Founder, For de Arts Consulting
I’ve been where you are—wearing too many hats, managing impossible timelines, and trying to make meaningful marketing happen with limited staff, limited budgets, and very real expectations. I’ve spent over 15 years inside nonprofit arts organizations doing the work from the ground up: writing the copy, building the plans, managing the campaigns, answering the press emails, reporting to leadership and boards, and adjusting in real time when things inevitably change. I know what it’s like to care deeply about the mission while also needing systems that actually work.
Throughout my career, I’ve led marketing and communications at organizations like First Person Arts and ArtPride New Jersey, where I’ve built and managed multi-channel campaigns, supervised teams and consultants, handled press and media relations, and developed repeatable marketing processes that supported both audience growth and revenue—sometimes in the middle of crisis. I’ve increased engagement, stabilized internal operations, and helped organizations move from reactive marketing to thoughtful, mission-aligned strategies that could be sustained by small teams.
My work has always centered on audience—who we’re serving, how we’re communicating with them, and whether our messaging is clear, authentic, and accessible. In addition to my professional roles, I served on the Audience Development Steering Committee at Opera Philadelphia, focusing on building genuine connections with Black and Brown communities. I also bring a governance lens to my work through board service with Enchantment Theater Company and Lyceum Hall Arts Center, which means I understand the pressures of executive leadership, board expectations, and long-term organizational health.
Over the past several years, I’ve also leaned into practical uses of AI to streamline planning, content development, and internal workflows—not to replace human storytelling, but to give small teams back their time and capacity. Through For de Arts Consulting, I bring all of this experience together to help arts nonprofits work smarter, not harder. My goal is simple: to help you build marketing systems that honor your mission, respect your reality, and make your work more sustainable—for the long haul.
